Profile

Dr Rebeca Goiriz is a Consultant Dermatologist at Barts Health NHS Trust and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London. She graduated with a first class honours degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Alcala in Spain in 2002, and trained in Dermatology and Venereology at La Princesa University Hospital in Madrid before moving to London. She has been a Consultant at the Royal London Hospital since 2010 and is a core member of the specialist skin cancer multidisciplinary team. She has special interest in cutaneous lymphoma, skin diseases in organ transplant recipients, dermoscopy and teledermatology. She received a local clinical excellence award in 2019 in recognition for her role as Clinical Lead in Dermatology. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from UCL, has been a faculty member of the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology since 2013 and is responsible for the organisation of the six clinical days on the programme. She lives in London with her husband and two children.
