Xue will be working with the Queen Mary Academy as a Fellow from September 2023 - August 2024. Her project aims to equip students with a fundamental knowledge of AI and practical training on AI usage in learning.
Xue joined Queen Mary in August 2021 and is currently a Reader in Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the School of Business and Management. Xue is also currently acting as Programme Director of BSc Business and Management and has taken a leading role in Peer-Led Team Learning project in the school of Business and Management. Before joining Queen Mary, she was a Senior Lecturer in Project Management, Digital Lead, and Academic Developer at Coventry University.
Xue’s main research interest falls within the field of digital literacy, cross-culture adjustment, international curriculum design and academic staff development. Xue has published pedagogical work in the peer-reviewed conferences and journal papers such as Research in Learning Technology, Policy Futures in Education, Journal of Learning Development in Higher Education. She also published popular educational blogs in CABS, BERA, BLEMAS and AdvanceHE.
Xue’s scholarship activity and knowledge have also been recognised in the field, she has been invited to deliver workshops in CMBE, ALDinHE and staff training sessions in the UK institutions.
