Are you looking to enhance your student-paced learning in order to better engage and support students?

Asynchronous learning is student-paced learning and includes any activities students complete in their own time, outside of a class. This is an asynchronous e-learning course that explores a range of tools for creating and facilitating interactive asynchronous activities.

Asynchronous learning is becoming a vital element of in-person and online courses. Specific teaching methods such as flipped learning make extensive use of asynchronous learning but student-paced learning activities are important to support all modes of education at Queen Mary, in line with the Queen Mary Education Approach.

You will work through this course in your own time, completing activities and exploring topics related to asynchronous approaches to engaging students, communication, building a community and assessing students.
