I started participating in Peer Assisted Study Support Sessions (PASS) during my second year of studies. I have been mentoring first-year engineering students for a total of 25 hours. I shared with them the effective method that has worked for me since secondary school, which was passed down to me by my father. This method helped the students become more independent and grasp the concepts rather than just memorising information. Becoming a mentor has been one of the best decisions I have made. It's difficult to put into words how I felt when the students reached their full potential and gave me positive feedback. Some of the feedback included comments such as, "The PowerPoints were useful," "The 'look, find, and magic' method works," and "Can you be my personal tutor?"
