Undergraduate scholarships

Queen Mary offers a range of Undergraduate Scholarships for new students enrolling in September 2024

The Undergraduate Scholarships 2024/25 application round is now closed.

To see more information about the Queen Mary Bursary visit our webpage here: Queen Mary Bursary.   Use our Scholarships database to see all the awards currently offered at Queen Mary

You will only be considered for one of these scholarships if you have had a full household income assessment by Student Finance, see Getting income-assessed on our webpage here: Student Finance Income Assessment

When will I know if I have been awarded a scholarship?

Students will be informed of the outcome of their application via the MySIS portal by the end of the first semester.  If your application is shortlisted and forwarded for a final decision by an external Trust or Foundation which is providing the funding for a scholarship, you will be informed of this. In these cases, we expect to have a decision from the Trust or Foundation during the second semester and you will be informed as soon as we hear from them.

How do I apply?

All applications need to come via the Scholarships and Bursaries section of MySIS, the online application screens will give you further guidance on how they should be completed.

  1. Log in to your MySIS portal and go to the Scholarships and Bursaries page (click More Options... if not visible)
  2. Click on ‘Apply for Scholarship or Bursary’
  3. Select ‘Undergraduate Scholarships’ from the funding type dropdown and complete the online application screens
  4. Make sure you click the ‘Submit’ button on the final screen

Closing Date: Friday 1st November
