The Timetabling Support Team has introduced a web-based system for colleagues with QMUL staff accounts to make their one-off internal room-booking requests.
This service is not to be used for requesting bookings for modularised teaching activities - please contact the Timetabling Support Team if you are unsure how to go about doing this. Any booking requests for student events should be made, by the student group concerned, via the appropriate form to either QMSU or BLSA in the first instance.
Web Room Bookings will display available centrally-booked room(s) in certain buildings which fit the criteria you have selected (times, date, capacity and equipment) and allow you to quickly and simply place a request to make a booking. Emails from the system will then keep you informed of the status of your request. However, the large lecture theatres are not bookable online so to request these rooms please email the Timetabling Support Team with full details of the planned event.
Please use Web Room Bookings to cancel any bookings that you originally made using the system, in order to manage your own room-booking account online. Just log in to the site, go to 'my bookings', select the one(s) you no longer require, and click 'cancel'. The system will do the rest, and email you confirmation of the cancellation(s). Please do not allow other people to make or cancel room bookings using your account.

Catering is not allowed to be served or consumed within any centrally-managed teaching room. Not all rooms/buildings have catering space associated with them, so please bear this in mind when booking space for meetings or events where you intend to serve refreshments for the attendees. If you are in any doubt, please contact the Timetabling Support team for advice.
Web Room Bookings must not be used for booking external or commercial events. In the first instance, the Venues Team must be contacted so they can classify your planned event in accordance with the College policy.
Please note that any booking made via Web Room Bookings will be initially given as being 'provisional'. We define ‘provisional’ to mean that the booking is in place until you decide to either change or cancel it.
