Scientists have found an evolutionary modification to the beaks of migrating birds, caused by the food given to them in the UK. Dr Steve Rossiter of the SBCS told More4 News that the bills of birds that come to Britain are narrower than some species that go to Spain “where they feed on natural fruits in the wild”.
