Mayor’s Entrepreneur Programme: Alexa and Adam's experience

Photo of Alexa and Adam in front of their company, Hugg's, logo “After receiving positive comments from Dr Joanne Zhang about our business idea, which was developed out of a group assignment for our Strategic Entrepreneurship module, Adam and I decided to enter the Mayor’s Entrepreneur Competition. Signing up for the competition and attending the online sessions helped us to further develop our business idea. This helped us to advance to the semi-finals. As semi-finalists we attended sessions to get additional training and tips on pitching our idea. Although we did not advance as finalists in the competition, making the semi-final was a huge accomplishment for both of us!"
