In November 2021, the farmer struggles in India met with unprecedented success when the Union government of India withdrew three bills that were seen as a threat to farmer livelihoods in North India. This talk shall discuss the state of Indian agriculture, the location of the protest within the country's agricultural policies and what has been the impact of these protests.
