The day will commence with the Workshop on Political Economy and Economic Development. This year the workshop will be focusing on two main themes: conflict and economics of the media.
After the workshop, Ekaterina Zhuravskaya (PSE) will deliver a lecture on "The Political Effects of Internet and False News".
Ekaterina Zhuravskaya is a one of the leading scholar in the economics of the media and in economic development. She is the 2018 winner of the Birgit Grodal Award, a biannual prize assigned by the European Economic Association, for having made a significant contribution to the Economics profession.
