Professor Toby Miller, Chair of Media and Cultural Studies at the University of California Riverside delivered a talk entitled ''TV is Dead! Long Live TV!' to the School of Business and Management at Queen Mary on the 12th of January 2010.
The talk explored the shifting yet dominant power of television in the age of convergence, interactivity and digitalization. On the 25th of January 2010 the School hosted an event at the Orange Room Cafe in Mile End to launch Prof Miller's two new books, Television Studies; The Basics and The Contemporary Hollywood Reader (both published by Routledge).
