Dr Elena Doldor was an invited panelist to an industry event on “Women’s progression in the workplace” hosted today by the City of London Corporation in conjunction with the Government Equalities Office. The panel discussion was led by Catherine McGuinness (Chair of Policy and Resources, City of London Corporation), who was joined by Dr Elena Doldor (Senior Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour, Queen Mary University of London), Rukasana Bhaijee (Senior Manager of Workforce Advisory, EY), Cindy Mahoney (Head of Talent Management, City HR Association), and Dr Heejung Chung (Reader in Sociology & Social Policy, University of Kent). Approximately 60 business leaders and diversity professionals were in attendance.

The event hosted the launch of a toolkit that provides guidance for employers on the evidence-based actions they can take to support women to progress in the workplace. Dr Doldor’s research on women leaders, feedback and inclusive cultures contributed to the toolkit.
