Professor of Employment Relations Director of Research Ethics, SBM
Explore how public procurement drives equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in employment. The latest #SBMInsights brief uncovers procurement's crucial role in fostering positive social change, advocating for the integration of EDI objectives into procurement.
Tailored for procurement practitioners, policymakers, equality advocates, and trade unions, this resource serves as a practical guide for aligning procurement practices with principles of social justice. Whether shaping policies or bidding for tenders, this brief highlights the tools to integrate equality and fairness into procurement.
We hope that the brief can persuade those involved in procurement who are not already directly incorporating equality considerations why they should do so, to lead them towards using the toolkit.— Professor Tessa Wright
