Prior to joining QMUL, Andrew was a Senior Lecturer in Strategy and the Course Director for the Business Foundation Year at London South Bank University. Andrew holds a Doctorate degree in Business Administration, an MBA, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, and a BA (Hons) in Hospitality Industry Management. Andrew is passionate and active in quality assurance roles including external examining and validation events. Andrew is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Certified Management and Business Educator.TeachingUndergraduate: Strategic Analysis and Practice Postgraduate: The Contemporary Live Project (Capstone Project) Skills and Methods for Sustainable Management Andrew has a strong record of teaching excellence, having won a student led award for Teaching Excellence at the University of Reading Malaysia. He has also been nominated and shortlisted for the Outstanding Teaching and Accessible Education awards at both the school-level and university-wide levels at the University of Greenwich. Andrew is interested in compassionate and collaborative pedagogy and is a member of the Compassionate Assessment Network.ResearchPublic EngagementAndrew is an external examiner at London Metropolitan University, University of the West of England, Teesside University and Wrexham University.
