Exploring Links Between Multidimensional Development Indicators and Entrepreneurial Activity In Pakistan.
Trapped by poverty and low human development indicators, Pakistan has adopted various poverty-mitigating and HDI enhancing program for development. Development objectives of many developing countries including Pakistan, however, go beyond poverty reduction and enhancing HDI, and include accelerated growth. This study develops a new framework in theory and practice to test whether multidimensional indicators of development can be achieved with a relatively new concept i.e. entrepreneurial activity in Pakistan.
The streamline objective of this study is to test whether multidimensional development can be achieved with entrepreneurial activities in Pakistan.

Abdullah Ijaz cofounded Tech Valley in Pakistan, changing the entrepreneurial landscape through fostering innovation and capacity building. 5+ years of experience of working for INGOs including USAID and The World Bank. Graduated in Business Finance and International Development from one of the leading universities in Pakistan.
Currently pursuing PhD at School of Business and Management, Queen Mary on a fully funded scholarship. His research proposes to explore the relationship between terrorism and entrepreneurship growth across the world.
