The School of the Arts is committed to preparing its students for the future, both academically and with the skills and knowledge to help them enter the job market, whatever direction their career path takes.

Graduates from our school go on to work in a huge range of different sectors. These highly sought after transferable skills include:

  • Critical thinking
  • Analytical skills
  • Communication
  • Research
  • Persuasion and the use of logic
  • Understanding of audience
  • Summarisation of complex information
  • Sensitivity to diverse cultures, communities, and behaviour
  • Time management and organisation.
