Applying to Study Drama

We welcome a diverse range of students onto our innovative degree programmes: of all ages, from all backgrounds, and from across the world.

We assess each application very carefully, using not only grades and predicted grades, but also your personal statement and reference, to try to get a real sense of your potential as a student of Drama.

All applications, including those from international and mature students, should be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). The institution code for Queen Mary, University of London is Q50.

Offer Holder Taster Days

If we make you an offer we’ll invite you to come to Queen Mary to meet us and learn more about studying with us.

These days will typically include a workshop, ‘taster’ seminar, a chance to meet our current students and look around the campus, and you’ll have the opportunity to discuss studying at QM with a member of our academic staff.

We want you to get to know us first hand, and help you decide whether Drama at Queen Mary is right for you.

Outstanding Potential Award

You may be selected for our new undergraduate Outstanding Potential Award scheme, which will mean we’ll invite you to an interview on one of 4 dates (all Wednesdays or Saturdays) between December and March. We’ll be providing more detail about this via email if you are eligible.
