During your time at Queen Mary, we’ll provide different types of academic and personal support. You’ll have a Personal Adviser throughout your degree, who can give general advice on your academic progress and help with things like selecting your module options. Your adviser can also direct you toward further support should any personal problems arise while you’re studying. Module leaders provide guidance related to individual classes that you take and fellow students offer peer support to help you through your degree.
During your time at Queen Mary, you can access a range of learning development activities and resources to support you. These include a range of Communication, Language and Study Guidance, including one-to-one tutorials, drop in sessions, online resources, as well as a chance to talk to our Royal Literary Fund fellows, all published writers. The University’s partnership with the Royal Literary Fund means that we are able to provide one-to-one tuition for students who wish to improve their writing. Whether you have a particular issue that’s causing concern, or you simply want to improve your written style, help is available. Find out much more on the Learning Development website.
