Sílvia Ayguadé, one of our Drama alumni, is directing a double-bill of contemporary Catalan plays (The Audition/Against Democracy) at the Arcola Theatre from the 15th-25th of May 2013.
Together with other activities planned, the show forms the first Catalan Theatre Festival in London. Performances of the plays will be accompanied by interviews with the authors, Esteve Soler and Rodolf Sirera; debates with academics Lourdes Orozco (University of Leeds) and Montserrat Roser i Puig (University of Kent); staged readings; and a Q&A with the cast led by Drama's Professor Maria Delgado.
