The 2013 National Student Survey results have confirmed the School of Economics and Finance as one of the top Schools in the country for overall student satisfaction. The School is ranked joint 3rd (out of 71) in the UK for its Economics education, with 97% of the students expressing satisfaction in the quality of their education. A feeling shared by 98% of the students involved in Finance studies, which means the School is ranked 1st (out of 60) in the UK for its Finance education.
The School is very proud of these results and, above all, is proud of its relationship with students. The School strongly believes in developing a sense of community among staff and students. Over the years, this ‘partnership’ has led to the development of a number of curricular and extracurricular initiatives that provide students with the opportunity of experiencing a rigorous, engaging and stimulating learning experience.
Professor George Kapetanios, Head of the School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary, welcomed the results: “The School is delighted with these results that reflect the School’s commitment not only to world leading research but also, equally, to engaging and intellectually stimulating teaching.”
