The School of Economics and Finance rises in all key league tables

Published:

The School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London has increased its position every year since 2011 in all key university subject league tables.

2015 rankings for the Guardian University Guide are particularly impressive placing the School 4th in the UK after Oxford, Cambridge and Warwick, and 1st in London – above LSE and UCL.  In 2011, the School was ranked 42nd in the UK demonstrating the notable improvements over the last 4 years.

The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2014 rankings place the School as 6th in the UK, up from 32nd in 2011 and The Complete University Guide 2015 rankings place the School as 12th in the UK, up from 36th in 2011.

The School also has particularly impressive scores for student satisfaction taken from the National Student Survey.  In the last survey (NSS 2013) the School was placed 1st in the UK with 98% overall student satisfaction for Finance, and 3rd in the UK with 97% overall student satisfaction for Economics.

The subject league table rankings reflect the improvements made to the School, the quality of teaching and research staff, the variety of extracurricular activities, support, facilities and resources available to students, the relevance of the degree programmes, and the high employment rate and employability of graduates.
