Professor Rodrigo Olivares-Caminal was recently interviewed by the Greek media on the topic of new Banking Recovery and Resolution Directive, in view of the ongoing sovereign and banking crisis in Greece. Professor Olivares-Caminal explained the main features of the Directive and explained how a bail-in operates and analysed the possibility of imposing a "haircut" to depositors.
