The recent work of Panagiotis Koutroumpis, along with co-authors professors Marc Goergen (IE Business School and the European Corporate Governance Institute) and Dimitrios Gounopoulos (University of Bath) has been featured in the Columbia University Law Blog. The authors examined initial public offerings (IPOs) with single, multiple, and no credit ratings; documenting a beneficial effect of credit ratings provided by the three main credit rating agencies on IPO underpricing, which is amplified by the existence of multiple credit ratings. The feature is based on their recent paper, "Do Multiple Credit Ratings Reduce Money Left on the Table? Evidence from U.S. IPOs".
