This prestigious event spotlighted the Queen Mary Master Investment Fund (QUMMIF), a unique programme that offers students invaluable hands-on finance experience in investment, trading, and portfolio management.sition as one of the world’s top universities.
QUMMIF is a student-managed investment fund based in the School of Economics and Finance, overseeing investments worth over £40,000. It stands out as one of the few investment clubs of its kind, established specifically for postgraduate students eager to gain practical experience in trading and portfolio analysis.
Participants in the programme develop essential skills such as real investment skills, market research skills and teamwork, creating a vibrant learning environment and significantly boosting their career prospects in the finance industry.
