Profile
I made the transition to performance and academic research following a career in journalism.
My teaching experience began on a postgraduate journalism diploma and expanded to creative non-fiction and fiction as my own writing practice broadened.
The basis of all my teaching is the investigation of an individual’s psychological process and identifying one’s perspective.
As an artist-researcher, I draw on being British-born with Greek Cypriot heritage, and my experience of displacement as a child in 1974 when Cyprus was invaded.
I'm currently part of a QMUL public engagement initiative to form a creative arts and mental health online community.
I have been shortlisted for the Verity Bargate Theatre Award, and been a recipient of the London Greek Film Festival’s Literature Award.
