Profile

My name is Abtin Eslahpazir Esfandabadi, and I am a Ph.D. Student in the field of Film Studies. Before I entered the field of cinema, I finished my bachelor's in Archaeology. After that, I graduated with a master's degree from Tehran University of Art. My thesis was under the title of Point of View & Narration in Plan-Séquence Cinema. Later on, I decided to further my studies at the Queen Mary University of London as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Dr. Mario Slugan and Dr Rosa Vidal Doval. The thesis that I am working on right now is about Iranian cinema and its relation to ancient Iranian literature.
