Ms Xinying TANG

Profile

Ms. Tang Xinying was appointed as the Chinese Director of the QUML Confucius Institute in June 2023. Prior to her appointment, she worked at the International Office of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), responsible for the university’s international exchanges and cooperation, and foreign affairs administration. She has been responsible for or participated in many important international events in the university, possessing rich experience in international exchange and cooperation.

The Confucius Institute plays a crucial role in fostering academic and cultural exchanges and collaboration between BUPT and QMUL. In her role as the Chinese Director, Tang is responsible for facilitating exchanges and cooperation between the two universities, recruiting Chinese language teachers, managing the teaching team, and facilitating various administrative tasks for the Confucius Institute.
