Catalan

Park Guell in Barcelona

Catalan is spoken by some 10 million people, more than Danish, Bulgarian or Finnish. Catalan is used officially in Catalonia, Andorra, France (Roussillon), Sardinia (l’Alguer), Valencia, and the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera). Knowing Catalan will give you an unparalleled advantage if you are going to visit or work in places such as Barcelona, Girona, and Palma. As well as giving access to a rich, 800-hundred-year-old culture, it will open up numerous business and research opportunities. Catalan has been the official language of FC Barcelona for 100 years.

Catalan modules for 2024/25 are offered at Beginner, Elementary and Intermediate levels.
