If you wish to join a beginner class (level 1a), you do not need to show your proficiency level in your chosen language.
If you wish to join a lower intermediate class (level 1b), you need to produce evidence to show your proficiency level: Completion of level 1a; or CEFR A1; or GCSE Grade C or D
If you wish to join an intermediate class (level 2a), you need to produce evidence to show your proficiency level: Completion of level 1b; or CEFR A2; or GCSE Grade A or B
If you wish to join an advanced class (level 3a), you need to produce evidence to show your proficiency level: Completion of level 2b; or CEFR B2, or As Level
