Research published into lexical bundle length, employing oral language data collected on the QMUL Pre-sessional programme.
Dr George Higginbotham (Eikei University of Hiroshima) and colleagues have recently published research on multi-word units and L2 oral proficiency. This research project analysed oral language data of 150 students, drawn from our annual Pre-Sessional Programme.
The article is published in Languages 2024 9(7), under the title: The impact of lexical bundle length on L2 oral proficiency.
Dr Higginbotham thanks the Pre-Sessional team and former students at the QMUL Language Centre for their contribution to this fruitful research project.
