A recent graduate from the Queen Mary linguistics PhD programme, Dave Kenneth Tayao Cayado, has just been awarded a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship! The scheme, which is funded by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, offers early career researchers the chance to conduct teaching and research in their developing area of expertise over three years.
Dave was awarded his PhD in July 2024, and will begin his fellowship entitled How do Tagalog readers learn to find the meaningful parts of words? later this year at Royal Holloway University of London. Congratulations Dave!
