SAVANT project receives extension to ESRC grant

Published:

We are excited to announce that the ESRC has granted colleagues working on the SAVANT project a one-year funding extension. This additional year will allow the project to achieve several significant milestones and continue its impactful work.

What This Means for SAVANT
1. Expanding Research: MEG results will be extended to EEG for Tagalog, Bangla, Slovenian, and Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian languages, enhancing the scope and depth of experiments.

2. LexiVault Expansion: Additional languages will be implemented into the LexiVault lexical characteristics database, broadening its utility and accessibility for linguistic research. Explore LexiVault here: LexiVault Database

3. Community Engagement: The project will run an additional year of its educational programs with local secondary schools in east London and Ljubljana.

You can learn more about the project and follow its progress on the SAVANT website.

SAVANT is primarily funded by the ESRC with additional support from the NeLLab operating grant. The project is a collaboration between QMULUvL and NYUAD.
