This year Queen Mary's Students and Staff of Russian are bringing Leonid Zorin's 'The Pokrov Gate' (Покровские ворота) to life. A production led by students (in Russian), it tells the stories from the lives of the tenants of one Moscow communal apartment where very different people live together.
So, join us on the 7th and 8th of April at 7pm in the Film and Drama Studio in Arts Two on our Mile End Campus to support our students' efforts and find out what life in a Soviet communal flat may have looked like. There will be a suggested donation of £5 paid at the door (this will also include the programme and refreshments during the interval). All the collected money will go to Ukraine Red Cross.
If you are interested to come, please send an email to n.bragina@qmul.ac.uk indicating number of seats to be reserved and the date of the show which suits you.
