Professor Adrian Armstrong has been awarded a grant from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) for a project entitled 'Transcultural Critical Editing: Vernacular Poetry in the Burgundian Netherlands, 1450-1530'. Involving specialists in medieval literature in both French and Dutch, based in the UK and the Low Countries, this four-year project will produce new scholarly editions of poetry in both languages. It will pay particular attention to the interactions between languages and cultures. For more details, see the project website.
