She has degrees in both Filología Hispánica and Filología Anglogeránica from the Universitat de València and as an Erasmus Student she did a Masters in Medieval Studies in Queen Mary and Westfield. She teaches Spanish Language, Advanced Oral Competence in Spanish and Spanish Translation: Theory and Practice, and cooperates with the Centre for Catalan Studies. She was a founding member of the Spanish and Latin American Film Seminar and a member of the organizing committee of the Colloquium of the Medieval Spanish Research Seminar, as well as the the Departmental Research Seminar which she chaired. For a number of years, she was also the department representative in the Student Staff Liaison Committee. Her research focusses mainly on cinematic treatments of medieval subjects.
