Why did you choose to study at QMUL?

If you are thinking about joining us in SLLF having an interest in creative expression can definitely help you with your studies. 

Why did you choose to study at QMUL?

I chose QMUL as I liked the location, it was not as busy as central however still accessible and easy to get to if I wanted to explore central. More so, I was really interested in the modules QMUL offered for Comparative Literature which was one of the main reasons I chose to study here. 

What attracted you to your programme?

The range of texts and diversity amongst the programme. The programme is extremely versatile, we don’t just study texts but also look at other creative expressions such as films and paintings in correlation to literature. 

What do you enjoy the most about your programme?

Learning the different ways of creative expression and how it can all be linked with literature. 

How do you think studying your degree is helping you to reach your future career goals?

Studying my degree will allow me to improve as writer but also allow my creativity to grow. 


How do you like to spend your time away from your studies?

I usually like to listen to music or paint.  


What you would like to do after you finish your studies?

Pursue a career in journalism. 


Do you have any advice for students moving to/ studying in London?

There is no need to be nervous and especially with making friends, London itself is so diverse so you’ll definitely meet the right people for you.
