On the morning of 10th June 2021 the UK witnessed a partial solar eclipse. In London about 32% of the Sun was covered by the Moon, with the full transit lasting just over 2 hours. Despite the cloudy skies, the Sun became visible for a time and was able to be observed with the Astronomical Observatory on the roof of the Physics and Astronomy building. More information about the observatory can be found here.
