Organic materials produced by Christian Nielsen's group will be put to the test in the solar cell architecture, as they hold great promise for this. A laser spectroscopy setup must be built for these objectives to be fulfilled, in the shorter term. The project will include the following activities/objectives: - Synthesis of derivatives of T-P semiconductors. - Laser spectroscopy experiments to uniquely resolve the key emission and charge transport processes during operation. - Implementation of the UV layers in perovskite PV devices and their processing optimisation.
