This project will focus on the characterisation of the growth of single-crystal hybrid perovskites. It will utilise novel in-situ characterisation approaches and laser spectroscopy experiments to enable applications in optical and electronic devices (communication or solar cells). This project will include the following activities: 1) In-situ analysis of perovskite single crystal growth, focusing on fibres. 2) In-situ analysis of perovskite single crystal growth, focusing on sheets. 3) Functional characterisation and property tuning. 4) Device fabrication based on functional analysis and growth. 5) Dissertation writing and defence.
