The convergence of AI and quantum technologies offers a unique opportunity to accelerate diverse applications, as well as unlocking new capabilities for fundamental science. At Queen Mary we have a strong research activity exploring molecular quantum materials for applications in quantum sensing and quantum computing and are also developing quantum algorithms for gravitational wave detection and to solve problems in theoretical physics.
