Bereavement
The death of someone significant is one of the hardest things to experience and pressures can be increased for students who suffer bereavement whilst trying to manage studying. In Queen Mary's Advice and Counselling Service our counsellors have a great deal of experience supporting grieving students. Queen Mary's Chaplain is also highly experienced supporting families who have suffered bereavement and can offer support to students from all faiths and none at this difficult time. The Chaplaincy itself provides a calm space on campus that students may benefit from if emotions become overwhelming.
