Any concerns or queries relating to Health, Safety or Security can be raised via any (or all) of the readily available routes listed below:
- Discuss with your line manager or other local manager (in their absence).
- Contact the Student Experience Safety Coordinators (Chris Murray or Hassan Mahmud): student-experience@qmul.ac.uk.
- Contact the Queen Mary Health and Safety Directorate for professional advice: hs-helpdesk@qmul.ac.uk.
- Talk to your local Safety Representative.
- Contact your nominated Queen Mary Trade Union Representative for impartial advice and guidance - Anastasia Malama (UNISON) or James Eastwood (UCU).
- Raise the issue at the quarterly Student Experience Health, Safety & Security Management Group meeting (chaired by the Director) by contacting the secretary to the group: student-experience@qmul.ac.uk.
