The Laws Building provides a flexible teaching and learning space for our law undergraduate students, including a range of lecture theatres and small seminar rooms for group study.
The Laws Building is also home to the Legal Advice Centre – an award-winning, community-focused legal clinic run on a volunteer basis by Queen Mary School of Law students with supervision by qualified barristers and solicitors.
In addition to teaching spaces, undergraduate law students have access to excellent information resources to help with their studies. The main library on the Mile End campus has vast holdings of British publications and also materials from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States, continental Europe and other parts of the world.
The School of Law has a dedicated librarian who is responsible for ensuring the latest journals and text books are available, and will endeavour to get hold of anything that isn’t. The library is open seven days a week and operates 24/7 opening hours during the exam period. As a Queen Mary student, you will also have access to the University of London Library at Senate House.
Located on the Mile End Campus, the School of Law is located just 15 minutes from the centre of the City, where you will find numerous legal landmarks, including the Royal Courts of Justice.
