Rume Begum

Profile

Rume Begum is a Learning Technologist within the Services Strand. She helps to ensure that our learning applications run well and continue to meet the needs of our staff and students. She is often involved in the introduction of new features and custom developments for QMplus, works closely with both staff and students as well as the in-house development team. She is the team’s lead for QMplus Hub (e-portfolio system) and Turnitin (similarity detection tool).

She graduated from Queen Mary University, and her first graduate role was working as an E-Learning Assistant at the university. Since then, she has done many other roles within the IT Services and E-Learning Team.

In her spare time, she enjoys baking, hosting parties, shopping and spending time with her friends and family.
