Zaheer Daleel

TEL Enhancement Manager

Profile

Zaheer manages TELT’s Enhancement strand. Zaheer and his team investigate ways of enhancing current learning technologies and introducing ideas and solutions to Queen Mary University. Zaheer has led on developing a TEL ‘Community of Practice’, working on and expanding the TELT Profile, and investigating innovative ways to develop technological solutions for QMUL staff and students. Zaheer continually works on pilot projects and engages with key stakeholders to enhance teaching and learning practices across QMUL. 

Zaheer’s previous role was as TEL Manager at King’s College London, where he spent six years developing tools, processes and digital literacy of academic and professional services staff. He worked very closely with both, in-faculty and central-TEL colleagues, to bring the TEL community closer, become more aligned with best practices, and to increase peer-to-peer collaboration.

Zaheer is a regular visitor to Emirates Stadium to watch his beloved Arsenal FC. He is a proud former teacher of PE & Business Studies, and on some evening's coaches sport at the Newham College Sports Academy.
