On 17th March Professor Henri Huijberts, Deputy Dean for Education in the Faculty of Science and Engineering, facilitated a webinar with presentations from colleagues on our transnational programmes. With face-to-face teaching in China suspended before face-to-face teaching in the UK, they had been working to move their teaching online slightly before colleagues in the UK. In this webinar, hosted in Blackboard Collaborate, they described their experiences so far and what has worked for them, covering both pedagogy and technology.
The webinar consisted of 4 presentations of approximately 15 minutes each which were then followed by a question and answer session. The webinar was recorded in Blackboard Collaborate, however, to make things easier we have divided the recording up into sections and made these available as standalone videos which can be accessed below. We’ve also included a resources section at the bottom of the page which gives further information on some of the topics raised in the presentations.
As the original recording was made in Blackboard Collaborate, this means the audio quality for some of the presenters is not the very best. We have added captioning to make the recordings more accessible. Links have also been included to view the videos with an interactive and downloadable transcript.
