Qudos Corner

A massive thank you to John Seamons who delivered the recent ‘QMplus Assignments – Exploring issues raised in the Jan 2024 exam period’ training session, and received very positive feedback:

  • “The common issues that were shared and how they were resolved. It was explained very well, and most Schools could relate to it.”

The recent ‘Mentimeter – Basic training session’ was also very successful with positive feedback including:

  • “The highlighting of handy features such as the segmenting of questions in Mentimeter, which I’d never been aware of before and which I will most certainly use in feedback sessions with students.”
  • “Seeing practical examples of the various things Menti can do – it was good to learn that things are in logical places and basically you just have to remember it’s there to be able to find a function again.”

Do you have a quick query?

Do you have a quick query about any of our technologies? Or do you want to show us something? Why not drop in online to speak to someone from the TEL team…

There’s no need to tell us you’re coming; just pop in on Tuesday or Thursday between 1-2pm via this MS Teams drop-in session link

Don’t want to wait for a workshop? Let’s talk …

Our BALT (Book a Learning Technologist) service gives you (and a colleague) the ability to book an hour with a member of the Technology Enhanced Learning Team to talk about any aspect of your use of technology in your teaching.

These meetings typically cover more than what can be addressed via a ticket or at a drop-in and are open to all QM members of staff who want to discuss how they use one of our technologies in their teaching.

Why not schedule a BALT to talk to us? For more information, and to schedule a BALT session with us, please visit our Staff Support page.
