As part of Queen Mary's commitment to the national accessibility legislation (2018), we are excited to announce the launch of the Brickfield Accessibility Toolkit within QMplus. This will be replacing Ally as our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) accessibility tool.
The toolkit aims to enhance your learning by ensuring that course content is accessible to all. It also gives you the option to convert your documents into alternate formats, using Sensus Access.
The toolkit and file conversion options will be available on QMplus from Wednesday 17th April 2024.
You will notice coloured circular icons next to resources in your QMplus course areas. You can use the icons to convert content into a range of different media.
Yes. If you have a document outside of QMplus that you would like to convert, you can do so via your QMplus profile.
Have a look at the Brickfield file conversion infographic [PDF 64KB] for more information on alternative formats.
