Once we receive your form, we’ll contact you via MySis with a suitable appointment based on your provided availability. Important information about wellbeing appointments

For counselling, mental health advice and student wellbeing advice, we are currently offering online appointments via MS Teams and in-person appointments on the Mile End campus. You will need your own quiet, confidential space for online appointments.

Waiting times for an appointment depend on the time of year. During quieter times (start of term and holidays) you may be offered an initial appointment quickly but at busier times, the wait time for an initial appointment may be 2–3 weeks or longer. The more availability you can give us, the sooner we will be able to offer you an appointment.

If you are finding things difficult while you are waiting or have concerns for your mental health, we recommend you contact your GP.

You can also contact your Student Support Officer to discuss academic concerns. For urgent support, please see our Help in a crisis information. For confidential listening and support services, see our list of External Support Organisations.
