On his first ministerial visit, Andrew Gwynne met with staff and patients at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health Stop Smoking Service on 11 July.
The new minister for Public Health and Prevention told the team at Stayners Road that their ‘brilliant work’ was ‘transforming lives’, and that ‘We need people to give up’. The Stop Smoking Service is part of the Health and Lifestyle Research Unit within the WIPH Centre for Public Health and Policy. Take a look at the fabulous video of the visit, posted by the Department of Health and Social Care on social media.
